Perhaps, but not when it comes to culture, architecture, and food. Besides the sheer number of restaurants, the varity in cuisine (Chinese? What kind of Chinese?), Amazing hours (there is no curfew), and Foodie scene, I've yet to find anty place that comes even close to comparing, nothing in North America for sure. Barcelona is OK, but not for cheap eats, etc. NYC is overated? Perhaps, but not when it comes to culture, architecture, and food.
